If you are looking at this website you are probably fed up with the way Quicken forces you to purchase their software every so often and if you don't they block you from downloading YOUR bank information!

I have used QuickBooks and Quicken to manage my businesses for years. In fact, I started with Parsons software which was purchased by Intuit many years ago. I am not a finance guy and find their software difficult to use...I'm sure it is good software, I just find it difficult to use.

In 2016 I had the 2013 version of Quicken Home and Business. Never could get the Automatic Update to work with my bank, JP Morgan Chase.

Called Quicken Customer Support, they told me after several minutes on the phone, that it was not their problem and I had to call my bank.

When I did, my bank said it was not their problem and they had changed their backend to work only with Quicken 2016 or later!

I purchased Quicken Home and Business. $130 later I re-contacted Chase Bank and the Automatic Update from the Bank Worked! Once!

Chase charges $9.95 per month for this ability to automatically update with Quicken.

Just recently I received an email from Quicken saying that I needed to update the newest version of Quicken or the updates would no longer work.

I didn't care because I had given up and just downloaded the files manually and then imported them into Quicken...all is well.

Well until the date Quicken stated the connection to my bank would no longer work...again I didn't care because of the manual downloads I was performing.

WRONG! I couldn't download from the bank!

I know my story is biased, I also know it is not the only one like it!

I was mad as Hell and couldn't take it anymore!
